General Description:
The Inside Technical Sales Representative is the front runner in promptly and effectively handling inbound customer inquiries pertaining to orders, quotes, stock availability, shipping specifications, and product information to ensure total customer satisfaction. This role works closely with the Outside Sales Team in conjunction with the other internal departments to ensure communication is achieved throughout the organization.
General Duties:
•Handles customer requests regarding sales orders, returns, requests, quotes, price and availability.•Assists customers with product selection and cross over according to products pecifications.•Provides technical support to customers.•Effectively promotes related company products to generate additional sales.•Gathers pertinent information of customer feedback regarding quality, delivery, pricing,etc. and reviews with the Team Leader.•Expedites orders when required.•Assists with customer returns.•Monitors service level reports (i.e.: turn-around time and fill rates).•Communicates potential sales leads to the Outside Sales Team.•Interacts with various departments such as Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering andProduction, etc., to ensure customer requirements are met.
Work Experience Requirements:
•Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with an understanding of hydraulics•Ability to learn and understand customer technical requirements.•Excellent analytic skills to identify key opportunities such as client pain points, anddemonstrate the value of the product(s).•Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily MS Word and Excel.•Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.•Demonstrated customer service skills including a strong telephone presence and attentivelistening skills.•Possess the ability to quickly build rapport and foster nurturing relationships withcustomers.•Experience using Salesforce and Business Central systems is an asset.•Past Customer Service or Sales experience is an asset.
Education Requirements:
•College diploma in business/technical programs is an asset.
•2 to 5 years of related hydraulic and/or electrical systems experience is highly desirable.
Special Skill Requirements:
•Ability to view/understand 3D models.•Strong understanding of hydraulic/electrical schematics would be considered an asset.

Client is located in West Mississauga.
Base salary $70k to $85k,+ bonus, full benefits
If a person has hydraulic experience there may be some flexibility on salary.
