Position Summary
The Regional Accounts Manager is responsible for developing strong distributor relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding our products within the GTA and surrounding areas. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic account management, and strong interpersonal skills to influence decision‑makers at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Account & Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with our distributors throughout Ontario.
Build trust and long‑term partnerships with OEMs, engineering consultants, and end‑user customers.
Engage effectively with customers at all levels, including senior non‑technical stakeholders, to influence product adoption and preference.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, responsiveness, and relationship building.
Manage all communication between customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely support.
Sales Growth & Market Development
Drive regional growth and profitability in alignment with annual sales objectives.
Motivate, support, and guide Ontario sales agents to increase product sales.
Identify, track, and follow up on customer opportunities and new business prospects.
Work to secure product approvals on customer vendor lists and specifications.
Assess customer technical requirements to ensure solutions meet or exceed expectations.
Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and market insights.
Consistently meet or exceed established yearly sales targets.
Technical Engagement & Training
Deliver lunch‑and‑learn sessions, technical presentations, and product training to OEMs, consultants, and end users.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our product portfolio, applications, and technical capabilities.
Specific Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or experience in motor control, electrical components, or industrial automation markets.
Technical diploma or degree in Electrical , Electromechanics, or a related field (College or University).
Proven sales experience within the Ontario market.
Outgoing, customer‑focused, and highly self‑motivated.
Willingness to travel
