Systems Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support and maintain the core technology infrastructure for a growing organization. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable system performance, maintaining security standards, and supporting internal teams with critical IT services. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable managing both cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and enterprise systems to ensure uptime and reliability
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement security best practices, including patching, updates, and access management
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery procedures, and system documentation
• Support cloud infrastructure and services, including provisioning and configuration
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to deploy and maintain applications
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity systems
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure, tools, and processes

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper V
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, VPN, firewalls, and routing
• Experience with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and automation scripts
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms and integrations
